Andreas for Model Number WFMC8401UC/10 I have a Bosch Washer that keeps giving me a drainage blockage signal only on the last final spin cycle. All prior rinse cycles drain the water into the drain pipe on my wall. I have checked the drain pump and all hoses. No obvious blockages. Nevertheless, I cleaned all hoses (supply and drainage). Once the drainage blockage signal shows on the control panel the washer just beeps, water is not drained and the washer does not go through its final cycle. What is causing this "Drainage Blockage" signal to appear and stopping the washer only on the final cycle? Is there a problem with the control panel causing this drainage blockage error only on the final cycle? The washer washes cloths fine and there is no noticeable drainage blockage due to prior drainage cycles working?
Answer Andreas, Make sure the water in the rinse cycle doesn't have any suds or foam. Make sure you're using the proper type and amount of detergent. Suds / foam can make the drain pump "cavitate" and the washer wont drain. Once you verify the operation and suds/foam, if the problem persists replace the drain pump 00436440 . The motor windings could be weak and failing at the end of the cycle, or the impeller on the motor shaft could be "slipping" and not draining the water properly. Read More...
