Ed for Model Number WFMC3200UC/01 I have an error code of "E:04" I unclogged the drain and found a tiny sock. But now the drain won't clear the water from the washer. All other things seem to be working as I started a wash cycle again. The washer will fill with water and spin to wash the clothes but the water sits in the bottom of the front loader. What do you recommend based on me unclogging the drain and the error code of E:04 with the water not draining? Thanks, Ed
Answer Ed, it would be recommended that the tub to pump hose is inspected as well as the drain hose for any possible clogs. From there, the drain pump would need to be tested to ensure that it is receiving 120VAC. If it does receive 120VAC and it does not drain, the drain pump 00436440 has failed and would need to be replaced.
