Appoman for Model Number SGS53A02GB/38 Hi My dishwasher stopped working the other day. The programs will count down to 0 but no water gets in. When I start a program, having manually filled the washer with some water, the water is pumped out - so the waste pump seems to work ok. I checked for electrical continuity through the inlet valve and there wasn't any. I expected that a new inlet valve would solve the problem. I fitted a new valve, but still doesn't work. I have read about the pressure chamber and the float valve but don't know exactly how to diagnose if these have a problem. Any suggestions? And did I diagnose the inlet valve correctly by being open?
