Headwaters for Model Number SHU9912 UC/U12 I replaced the drain pump with with the recommended part (642239), and the pump is making a lot more noise than the original part. Seems to be draining well (if anything, more efficiently than the original part) but my wife is concerned about/annoyed by the increased noise. Any thoughts?
Answer Headwaters, Before you installed the new part, did you check and flush the sump / drain compartment, and checck to make sure there was no debris left in the drain hose.
