D.J. for Model Number WTMC3500UC/01 Recently when selecting the dry cycle every time shows 20 minutes. When pressing in the middle of the display panel it shows correct cycle time. After drying for some time, it stops and shows 20 minutes again. It will then press display in the middle and works again. The Lint filter and vents are clean. No extra noise.
Answer Hello D.J., You will need to begin by pulling any existing fault codes. This is done in the following manner: • While pushing & holding Start/Stop & Delicates buttons, rotate cycle selector knob to Extra Dry – Regular/Cotton.• Push Start/Stop button to start the test. Push Start/Stop button to scroll through fault codes (if more than one exists). Do not rotate knob through Off to avoid exiting test program.• Rotate the cycle selector knob to end the test.
