Joe P for Model Number sgcs365rs The right front burner has spark but no gas. All other burners work fine. Burner valve? I was told that this cook top would be trouble getting apart and that the thin brass nuts would most likely be destroyed when removed. (The repairman would use a special tool to access the inside of the top, and he would likely have to replace those nuts). Any truth to this? Thanks
Answer Joe, If the nut is damaged during removal then yes they would need to be removed. There is a tool that can be used but a lot of times the tool will not work and if you take a cresent wrench and open it to the size of the hole and put it down in there and then use a screwdriver to twist the cresent wrench you can normally get the part off.
