John Z for Model Number GGS30 Really hoping someone can help me out. Recently bought a house with an older GGS30, Thermador, gas cooktop. The two left burners were not sparking and the gas tube connector on the front one was sealed. I was able to remove the gas tube connector with a drill. While waiting for a new gas tube connector, I purchased two spark ignition switches and spark electrodes. I installed them both and the rear burner began working fine. Then, the red indicator light went on and the rear burner stopped working. When I received the gas tube connector, I installed it for the front left. But, it made no difference and now the two left burners do not spark or release gas. The two right ones continue to work fine. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Answer John, With both the front and rear burner not sparking this issue would most likely be caused by a faulty spark module or simmer control. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 23, 2015
