John for Model Number GGS365 Can't get either solenoid on simmer burners to work. I have good spark (replaced module) and now these do not work. Did I wire them up wrong? Blue/yellow/orange wires? Installed a new simmer control as well, still nada. Also what does the P mean on the solenoid gas inlet/outflow?
Answer John, You need to recheck the wiring connections at the simmer controller and spark module. The wiring is "specific" and if wired incorrectly, the power will not be routed to the gas valve solenoid, and it won't activate and open. You will also need to inspect and check the potentiometers 00189816/20-01-872-01 and wires for the left side XLO/XHI burners. Read More...
