Ted for Model Number PRSE364GLS Thermador range PRSE364GLS left front burner no gas but has sparks, Been suggested it might be the Gas Valve 411253. replaced with one, it works a few times (the gas coming through and burner works,) but after a few times, it went back previous condition, no more gas through. Is something else bad or the gas valve is a defected one? please advise.
Answer Ted, with the gas supply turned off and the gas valve accessed, the knob would need to be rotated and the valve tested for 10 to 13 VDC. If the valve is intermittently getting DC voltage when the knob is turned off and on multiple times, the most likely cause of failure would be the simmer controller 00422882.
