Itneverends for Model Number GGSCV365W A pot was spilled on this unit. Now two left burners (extra Lo) will not turn on. Suspect either potentiometers or burner control. Since both are not working, common element seems to be control. The three other burners work, gas flows, turn on, etc. Two extra lows don't even turn on. Removing all 5 venturi tubes WILL be impossible- heat will likely result in the entire subassmbly turning and destroying piping. Can I drill out or grind off the venturi tubes? Once released, can I get them out of the orifice assembly and replace with new tubes? I was able to remove 2, one began to strip, two others were very tight. I would like part numbers for the venturi, potentiometer, orifice assembly, and the burner control.
Answer Hello Itneverends, Two potentiometers and the simmer control come in a kit 00497234. Since the old parts are not compatible with the old parts, ALL parts of this kit HAVE to be installed for proper, normal operation to be re-established. The orifice can be cleared with a safety pin or small safety clip and will not require replacement. It appears that the other parts are no longer available from the manufacturer as they have been dis-continued. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 1, 2016
