Mark for Model Number SHV68TL3UC Error E17 Bosch Dishwasher SHV68TL3UC Have pulled the dishwasher from the cabinet, left it fully connected, and turned it on to run a wash cycle. Lifted the insulation so I can watch the Water Inlet 11030996 / AP6977249. Water seems to pass through the Water Inlet in a way that looks OK to me. When the discharge pump runs to empty the dishwasher, water momentarily rises to the top of the Water Inlet assembly and fills the cavity at the top that appears to have a switch. The dishwasher runs for a short time and quits with Error 17. The discharge hose is clear of any obstruction. My guess is that discharge water going to the top of the Water Inlet is telling the dishwasher that the discharge hose is blocked. I have the discharge hose draining into a bucket and am sure it is not blocked. What should I do to fix this?
Answer Mark, This would most likely be an issue with the float switch sticking and would need to replace the water inlet on the side of the dishwasher to correct this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 4, 2023
