Koen November 13, 2023 for Model Number SHXN8U55UC/07 Hi, when running "customer service program", my dishwasher receives error E:18 during S:01 and E:08 during S:60. When running "auto" washing cycle, the cleaning cycle ends showing E:08. The dishes are rinsed and wet (not cleaned and dry). I notice that the dishwasher detergent tablet has not been resolved, although it was ejected from dispenser. Water supply and drain hoses are in good working condition. Filters are clean & un-clogged. No water can be found on the bottom of the machine. The sprayers are un-clogged and are rotating freely. Can you pls advise on next steps? Which part should be replaced?
1 Answer Koen, The error E18 means the water supply rate is too low or no water supply, (Check the water supply). The E08 means the heat pump detects a too-low water level in the pump and turns off the heater. The water supply is not supplying enough water or the water is being siphoned out or drained out prematurely. Read More...
Aison July 08, 2023 for Model Number SHPM65Z56N What is the most common cause of E15 codes and leaking from the bottom onto the floor?
1 Answer Aison, Most of the time the water inlet valve is the reason. It doesn't open all the way and causes slow fill leaking into the base. Read More...
Mark April 03, 2023 for Model Number SHV68TL3UC Error E17 Bosch Dishwasher SHV68TL3UC Have pulled the dishwasher from the cabinet, left it fully connected, and turned it on to run a wash cycle. Lifted the insulation so I can watch the Water Inlet 11030996 / AP6977249. Water seems to pass through the Water Inlet in a way that looks OK to me. When the discharge pump runs to empty the dishwasher, water momentarily rises to the top of the Water Inlet assembly and fills the cavity at the top that appears to have a switch. The dishwasher runs for a short time and quits with Error 17. The discharge hose is clear of any obstruction. My guess is that discharge water going to the top of the Water Inlet is telling the dishwasher that the discharge hose is blocked. I have the discharge hose draining into a bucket and am sure it is not blocked. What should I do to fix this?
1 Answer Mark, This would most likely be an issue with the float switch sticking and would need to replace the water inlet on the side of the dishwasher to correct this issue. Read More...
William November 02, 2022 for Model Number SHE53T56UC/02 I repaired the door spring mechanism and during that time saw the water inlet housing had mildew growing inside. It's the 00744882 model but I had to order the newer 11030996 model from Bosch. The question I have is on the motor inside the water inlet housing. The old unit didn't have this but rather a bladder area. Can I still use this on my unit if I do not have an electrical source to connect it to? Will it still work effectively? Is there another option?
1 Answer William, the revised water inlet 11030996 can be used even without a wire harness connection for the flow meter in the case. Read More...
Jim January 07, 2022 for Model Number Bosch SHV68TL3UC/09 Dishwasher immediately displays E:19 when any cycle is started. (within a few seconds). You can hear a few relays clicking before the E:19 appears. Have tried resetting. cleaned out sump, checked for blockages. even replaced soap dispenser based on a diagnosis I read somewhere on this site or another similar one. Dishwasher is from 2016. Most videos and troubleshooting guides seem to reference older models.
1 Answer Jim, Thanks for the question!!! The error code is about the dispenser. If the code is present after the replacement then the control is the likely cause of the code 12015871. Read More...
Don Stecko December 16, 2020 for Model Number Thermador DWHD640JFP/C9 Washer starts cycle but stops and timer goes to 0:0. Issue was intermittent for a while now consistent. Error code E14 shows occasionally. I replaced micro door latch no change: service manual would help but having difficulty getting one. Any ideas? Don
1 Answer Don, This issue will be a water filling issue and you will want to check to make sure that there are no kinks in the waterline, Check to make sure that the water valve is getting 120 Vac to it. Check to make sure that the valve is not restricted. If the valve has power to it but it is not filling then the issue will be a faulty water valve. Also, check the float and float switch to makes sure that they are good and working properly. Read More...
Jay April 27, 2020 for Model Number She65t55uc/07 We have a fish smell in a Bosch dishwasher that we cannot get rid of. I’ve done all the cleaning routines that I can think of, including Vinegar, store-bought cleaners, and thoroughly cleaning out all the filters. I’ve check that the drain tube is looped above the garbage disposal into which it drains. I have not replaced any drain tubes but I did remove and clean the water inlet housing. I followed the fantastic video you had online. I did that because it did appear to have some yellowish material around the chamber where the black rubber thingy is inside the housing. Unfortunately we still have the problem. I don’t really want to change the drain tubes but I will if I have to. They look clear and there is no evidence of any kind of food or mildew inside it. We have talked to the manufacturer, a plumber, and a repair technician and none of their advice has helped us. Do you have any advice for us? Thank you very much, Jay
1 Answer Hello Jay, at this point I would suggest the sump assembly be disassembled and inspected, there could something in the sump, diverter or either the circulation pump or even the drain pump. Read More...
Willi June 28, 2019 I have a Bosch SHXM65N55/01 dishwasher. I replaced the water inlet valve. Water is coming from the inside of the dishwasher, over drain that is on the side of the Bosch part number Water Inlet 00744882. Is the issue with the water inlet system coming through to the inside of the dishwasher and needs to be replaced? Also wondering why there is water in the "bladder". I hope I'm making sense.... Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Willie, you will need to replace part 11030996 and check the hoses connecting to it are positioned correctly. Read More...
