Jody F. for Model Number GLER341AS2 Looking at the Terminal, the left side (red wire) melted in mid dry causing the breaker to flip. Looks as if there was a small flash fire due to the black around the surrounding area. My question is this... will replacing the terminal block & plug fix the problem, or do I have a bigger problem internally? The last thing I want is to order part, get it installed, only to have the same blow out. Thank you for your help.
Answer Hello Jody. Usually when this happens, it's due to a loose connection. You should be ok with the new terminal block and cord. Make sure the connections are good and tight. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 26, 2011
