Questions & Answers

For Frigidaire Terminal Block (Part Number: OEM6324477)

1 Answer

Paul, The mounting screws for the terminal block would be WE02X10017 Mounting Screw, the WE13X10010 Bracket(access panel with the hole) and the mounting screws for that panel are WE02X10011 Screw. The parts needed are presently out of stock and would need to be ordered from the manufacturer. This will add a few days to the delivery time, once you place the order. Thanks,

Anthony, Unfortunately we do not have the screw size for the terminal block on the unit. You would need to get the terminal block to get these screws.

Ok my dryer started out with an error code and then turning off while in the cycle. Still drying the clothes. This didn't last long as we were researching what the codes were. It said my code was a stuck button. well none of the buttons were stuck. And next the dryer stopped heating. Then the dryer would not turn off. We bought and replaced the control board. That did not work. When we did this the dryer wouldn't even stay on. So we replaced the thermal limiter and the control thermister. This also did not fix the problem. Still no heat. The display would have dashing lights going around the rectangle at this point. Now I ordered and changed the heating element assembly. This did nothing. The flashing lights are still there and there isn't any heat. We also did check the circuit with the multi meter and it was fine. We don't know what else we can do. The wires for the cord are not fired either.

Melissa, Try to return the unit to factory settings by pressing Start/Pause and select at the same time until it sounds. It sounds like this unit is in a demo mode which this should take it out of demo mode.

Hello David, Green is always chassis ground in appliances. The chassis ground is there so if a hot wire contacts ground, the breaker will discontinue power to the unit instead of allowing voltage to ride on the chassis until someone touches it and becomes the ground that opens the breaker. Be aware that on some models, there may be a copper strap that goes from the center terminal to ground. On this design, the green wire can be connected with the white on the center terminal. If there is no strap to ground from the center terminal, the green wire has to be grounded at the screw hole with the ground symbol ? beside it.

Lee, make sure you have 240v to the dryer and there is not any lint build up in the home venting system or the dryer vents. Check the element and thermostats on the unit, they should read closed for continuity. Thanks.

Patrick, The motor 131560100 has probably overheated and the motor windings are weak and can't drive the motor, so it hums instead of rotating.

Steve for Model Number GLEQ2152ES1

A week ago my dryer stopped working completely as if it had tripped a breaker. From the noise it was making before it quit working I knew the drum was rubbing on the electric heating coil. I ordered a new heating coil and rear bearing kit. After replacing the parts (the heating coil was completely broke in half) and re-assembling the dryer still did not power. Is there a fuse inside that could have blown when heating coil broke? Your help is appreciated.

Hello Steve. Test the breaker of the house and see if it is bad. Also, make sure the door switch is plugged up on the unit.
