Danny for Model Number gler341as1 I replaced the drum bearing, and when I plugged into the wall, the dryer caused a slight flicker in lights, and now I see the the pink wire from the terminal block looks like it is charred but not new, seems to be old. I reset the breaker and it just keeps tripping it. I assume I need to repair the terminal block but will this cause it to trip the breaker repeatedly? The plastic on the terminal block seems to be slightly melted.
Answer Hello Danny. You will need to check the wiring on the unit and see if any is broken, burnt or touching ground. Repair any bad spots that are found. If the terminal block is burnt, you will need to replace it as well. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 29, 2013
