Frustrated for Model Number 790.49063402 My Kenmore oven uses control board AP3769060. The lower oven works correctly (DLB relay stays closed, during preheat the control board cycles between the upper and lower heating elements). The upper oven does not heat. I checked the voltage across the DLB relay contact and I can see that it closes only briefly as the control board cycles between the upper and lower heating elements in the upper oven. What causes the DLB relay to open back up? Can the board sense current? It seems that it is trying to heat all three elements at the same time (based on the relay contact voltages I read for the upper heating elements) and I am sure that is more current than it is expecting. The lower oven only energizes one heating element relay at a time.
Answer Frustrated, If the relay is only closing momentarily then this would be a faulty relay on the board and the board would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 10, 2021
