Frustrated December 08, 2021 for Model Number 790.49063402 My Kenmore oven uses control board AP3769060. The lower oven works correctly (DLB relay stays closed, during preheat the control board cycles between the upper and lower heating elements). The upper oven does not heat. I checked the voltage across the DLB relay contact and I can see that it closes only briefly as the control board cycles between the upper and lower heating elements in the upper oven. What causes the DLB relay to open back up? Can the board sense current? It seems that it is trying to heat all three elements at the same time (based on the relay contact voltages I read for the upper heating elements) and I am sure that is more current than it is expecting. The lower oven only energizes one heating element relay at a time.
1 Answer Frustrated, If the relay is only closing momentarily then this would be a faulty relay on the board and the board would need to be replaced. Read More...
Todd R March 05, 2020 for Model Number PLEB30T9FCA This is a double oven and both upper and lower do the same. I turn the oven on to preheat it. It will be on for along time and not reach the desired temp. I turn up the oven and it still only goes up a small amount. Put something in and in a bit the oven goes to the full amount indicated. It is like you are chasing a temp. It is either higher or lower than indicated.
1 Answer Todd, With this issue occurring in both upper and lower ovens then this would be a faulty relay board 316443901. Read More...
Jed October 15, 2019 for Model Number PLEB30T9DCB The top oven on my Frigidaire Model PLEB30T9DCB stopped working in the middle of a bake. It can still be set for bake, and the light and convection fan still works, but the heating elements remain cold to the touch no matter what the setting. The temperature sensor tests as good and the lower oven still works fine. Is this likely to be a problem with the relay board or might it be something else?
1 Answer Hello Jed, This can be caused by the thermal switch 318004900 or the relay board 316429800. If it is the thermal switch, turn the power off and press on the red button in the center of the device and wiggle it to get it to "pop" in to reset it. If it will not reset, it will have to be replaced. If it shows continuity before attempting to reset it, the relay board will have to be replaced. Read More...
Darrell September 08, 2019 for Model Number PLEB30T90CA Our oven comes up error F32 and beeps for a few seconds. The oven will not work.
1 Answer Darrell, (F32) Key loop is detected as an open circuit. Press Clear or Cancel key. Verify if the keyboard is connected (P3). If above doesn't clear error then user interface/ key pad will need to be replaced Read More...
Frank-A January 06, 2019 for Model Number 79049063402 I have a Kenmore double oven. The top oven will preheat and then stay on for about 10 minutes. At that point the oven beeps and an F10 error code is shown. I checked the resistance of the oven temperature sensor and it is at 1080 Ohms at room temp, which is correct. I looked at both sides of the control PCB and nothing appears to be burnt out. The bottom oven works fine. What do you think the issue is and how can I fix it?
1 Answer Frank A, First disconnect the oven temp sensor harness from the back of the control board (P 27 conn.) check the resistance across the two purple wires in the harness, you should read 1080 ohms resistance, then check each purple wire to chassis ground, there should be infinite resistance (no circuit) . If all checks OK, replace the oven temp. sensor, first. The last resort would be the control board, if the problem persists. Read More...
Diane November 25, 2017 for Model Number PLEB30T9DCA This is a Frigidaire double wall oven. Sometimes the top oven shuts off completely for no reason. It will come back on and then shut off again. This usually happens at high temps but not always. Other times the top oven shuts off and then the control pad locks both the oven doors randomly. We can only get it working again by pressing keys (lock/clear) and then sometimes it locks again. Do I need a control board or a relay or something else? Seems to be heating well when it doesn't shut off. Thanks.
1 Answer Diane, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty relay control board 316429800. Read More...
Chris November 30, 2016 for Model Number modle CPEB30T8CC2 SN. NF40209934 I have a 2003 Frigidaire double oven and the lower oven quit working, I have checked for power at the element and there is none. I had a repair man out to look at it and he says I need the board no. 318022002 but when I went to order it from your parts department they say its for the top oven, can you confirm this and if need get me the proper number for the part I need. Thanks Chris
Jeff January 01, 2016 for Model Number FEB30T7DCA The oven after a while will flash a F11 code and display beep and also will perform a audio beep. I changed the EOC but that was not it.
1 Answer Jeff, The F11 error code is a shorted keypad which would need to be replaced and would be part number 318271513. Unfortunately this has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Adam July 30, 2015 We have no Display and buttons don't work on our 790.4906 model Kenmore. For a brief moment it had the PF light but then nothing on the display, no lights in the oven. The circuit breaker is good, when I switch the breaker off, then turn it back on, we hear one audible beep from the oven, but that is it. do you think that is the board, the electronic control?
1 Answer Hello Adam. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
