Randy for Model Number GLEB27T8ABA I am looking at a friends oven for her. I tested it, the top bake works fine and to correct temp. The top an bottom broil an bottom bake do not heat up at all. I tested all of the elements an they show 17-20 ohms. Do you feel this is one of the relay boards or the clock board? Is there a test procedure to narrow this down?
Answer Hello Randy. Test for power coming from the lower relay board 318022001 to the element. If there is power coming to the board, but none out, replace the relay board. If there is no power coming to the board, replace the clock. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
