Alexandra for Model Number mytag mf12569veb2 My refrigerator (Maytag mf12569veb2) front panel does not work. It looks like it is locked. I tried to unlock the dispenser but still does not work. The weird thing is that can not change anything on the dispenser like the temperature. I can not get water or ice (it is not even making ice, don't know if it is because lights for water and ice are off). I did have water until today. That is when the light went off. When trying to get water the lock light start blinking. The lights that are on are "lock, light, door alarm and humidity control" . Not sure if it is the hv control Board, the electronic control board or maybe anything. I see you have the parts for this refrigerator but hope you can guide me to get the right one. thanks.
Answer Alexandra, You will want to try to unlock the control pad by pushing the lock key for 3 seconds. If you just push it once and then immediately let it go it will not come out of the lock state. If this does not work then the display board would be the cause for the issue and would need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is 67006294. Read More...
