Diy-Dan for Model Number GLRS237ZAB7 Refrigerator water dispenser stopped working. Ice is still being produced and ice dispenser works properly. When the water dispenser is pressed no water comes out. I do hear the humming sound just like when water was dispensed. Light turns on when the water dispenser paddle is depressed. New water filter installed also. Old filter was working fine before it stopped working. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Answer Diy Dan, You will want to take the kickplate off and disconnect the water line at the bottom of the door. After it is disconnected, push the water dispenser lever and see if water comes from the tube that comes from under the unit.
