Anthony March 19, 2022 for Model Number FRS6LF7JB3 Water and ice dispenser stopped working along with the cube/crush, extra ice and filter buttons. Only button working is light. Checked continuity across all switches and seem fine but would like to know if I need the button strip board or main power board so I can be certain I ordered the correct one.
1 Answer Anthony, if the buttons will not illuminate the LED showing they have been selected, the failure would be in the selector board 241708309. Read More...

Meg January 15, 2021 for Model Number Frigidaire PLHS267ZDB2 Door dispenser has power. When I depress the water actuator the filter indicator light illuminates but no water is dispensed--checked the line thru the door and it does not appear to be frozen. Water to the icemaker seems to be working OK. Is this an issue with the actuator or some other water dispensing part? Thanks for the assistance.
1 Answer Meg, the issue is most likely the 241708309/5304441058 Dispenser Control Board and/or the keypad ribbon between the facade and control board. Based on your information and description, there is a damaged or shorted circuit or "glitch" in the control board bypassing the dispenser and illuminating the filter light. Thanks, Read More...
Serge June 26, 2019 for Model Number PLHS67EESB9 Ice auger keeps running. Which part do I have to replace to fix this problem? Thanks
1 Answer Serge, Sounds like the switch is stuck closed, I would check it first and then if the switch is good it could possibly be your board. Part# for the switch {AP6887337} and for the board {AP3965513} Read More...
D Sanford April 24, 2019 for Model Number Kenmore 253.54662409 The water dispenser tube slipped out of it slot and would put water everywhere when lever was pushed so I removed the cover and had to unplug and unscrew the dispenser assembly to get to it. Once put back in place and dispenser panel plugged back in, the ice maker starting crushing ice continuously without the trap or the lever being pushed. Water still works fine if plugged in but wont stop crushing ice. I checked the triggers and they still click back when pressed and released. Don't know if I need to buy a new control panel or new dispenser control panel. Any help?
1 Answer D. Sanford, For this issue the most likely cause will be that the dispenser power board is faulty and would need to be changed. The part number will be 241708102. Read More...
Brad January 28, 2019 for Model Number FLSC238DS7 Similar question asked - Ice/water dispenser stopped working, worked for a bit more then died. Before it's final death, when depressing the (water) dispenser, the control panel lights would blink a bit with green/orange. I believe I have main power control board (241708102). Can you tell me which pins to check if power is leaving the board out to the outer control panel? Or any others that would indicate main power board failure? Thanks
1 Answer Brad, On the dispenser there is a red/black wire and a light blue wire that you would check for 120 vac. If there is power into the board then the board would be the issue if the dispenser is not working. Read More...

Scott W June 11, 2018 for Model Number FRS26LF7DS2 Water in a non GFI receptacle caused 240 volts to be sent to my refrigerator outlet. After fixing the power issue, the fridge seems to be working fine but the ice and water board is dead. I checked the wiring through the door harness and 120 v is being sent through the harness. This model has two dispenser control boards, the main one and one connected to it by a ribbon. Is there a way that I can test which is bad so I don't have to buy both?
1 Answer Scott, This issue would most likely be caused by the dispenser power board 241708202. Read More...
Davis April 11, 2018 for Model Number GSS25TSTSS The dispenser control board on the door of my GE fridge is blank, Not working. Reset control board by turning the fridge breaker off for 30 sec. the board came back on, but when I went to get water the water dispenser was not working. Tried to change the board to ice, control board flashed once or twice an went blank. Tried again to reset it, nothing happened. How can I test It to know if the control board is bad or if it is something else?
1 Answer Hello Davis. On the J4-2 wire of the main board, you should have an output of 13 VDC going to the dispenser board. If not, then the main board is bad. If it is there, and the wiring is good, then the communication between the 2 board on J4-4 And J4-5 will need to be checked. J4-3 is the board DC common ground for testing. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
