Jay for Model Number FRS6LF7FBB The Frigidaire in the company break room stopped working a couple of years ago. I decided to look at it today. At this point, the tray will not fill up with water, when the arm is moved to the one position. The turning part in the ice maker assembly does turn. Also, the dispenser panel does not light up, and nothing works. I pulled out the ribbon and put it back in. Then I plugged in and tried it. The dispenser lights up, but the tray sounds as if it is trying to crush ice (which there is none) constantly. I'm not sure how to test if the issue on the front panel is the ribbon or dispenser control, and the water filling, I don't know where to start. Thanks for any information.
Answer Jay, This issue with the dispenser would most likely caused by a faulty dispenser control board which is part number 241708202. For the icemaker the issue will be most likely caused by a faulty water valve. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 23, 2017
