Claude K. for Model Number ffqe5000qw My dryer had stopped running so I hire a technician to diagnose the issue. He said the problem was the control board. I replaced the control board of my Frigidaire dryer with a new one (I checked so I know that the part number is correct). However, with the new control board my dryer won't even display anything or turn on (with the old control board in I could see the display even if the dryer wasn't working). Does a Frigidaire dryer control board come with the software installed so it works after installation or is there an additional step need to make the control board active?
