Ashley for Model Number FFHS2313LS3 Both the freezer and fridge portion have high temps. Everything in the freezer has actually thawed. Checked the vents and even turned off the control panel and turned back on to reset. Freezer temp seems to fall a little after that, but the fridge temp still rises up to 60. What could it be?
Answer Ashley, You will want to check to see if the evaporator fan motor in the freezer is running. If running then pull the rear cover off the freezer side and check the evaporator coils to see if there is frost impacting the evaporator coils. If there is then it would be a defrost issue in which you will want to check the defrost thermostat and defrost heater for continuity. If there is no continuity then the part will need to be replaced. If there is continuity then it is ok and the defrost control would be the issue. Read More...
