Answer

William, The place to start is the oven bake igniter 5304534663 When you select a bake cycle and temp. The igniter should start to glow and produce 3.2 to 3.6 VAC or draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps on th wires to the safety valve 316404901 An even easier check, does the waist high broiler in the oven, ignite and burn properly, or do you have the same issues as the bake burner ? We take for granted, you've already checked for loose connections and damaged wiring. Another possibility, but not likely would be a gas pressure problem, or mybe even a regulator issue 5304521339, since you have to turn a burner on to allow the bake burner to ignite. You would want to have your gas supply company come in and check the gas supply pressure to your range, both "static" and "under a load". Good Luck and Thanks
