Clare for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Normal wash cycle starts then stops and I get a flashing ER then UO message. I've checked connections and powered off and on to reset. What do I need to fix this four year old dish washer? Thanks for your help.
Answer Clare, The UO error is an open vent error. Here is what needs to be checked for the unit. While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board The ER error code is a membrane switch failure. You will want to check the following for it. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board.
