Chris, The trim on the console is not sold separately and would need to get the console 154791806. To change this is just a matter of disassembly of the door and is not difficult to do.

Brandon for Model Number FGHD2433KF1

Hello, I'm attempting to troubleshoot my FGHD2433KF1. The unit is completely unresponsive and does not display anything. I have 120V at the door switch and I did a continuity test on neutral and hot with door latch open and shut and the latch appears to be working. I tried replacing the main control board (which didn't change the symptoms of the unit) so I'm suspecting it's the control panel assembly? Is there a way I can determine it's the control Assembly before ordering this part?

Brandon, Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't supply a key pad matrix, in order to test the key pads. You can remove the ribbon connector from the control board, check the tracers(in the ribbon) to make sure they are all solid tracers, make sure the ribbon isn't twisted, kinked or creased, then lean the end of the ribbon connector and the pins on the control board with alcohol or contact cleaner. If the problem persists, then replace the 154791806 / 154791806 Console Assembly w/Overlay. Based on the information, that would be where the problem is. Thanks,

Sharon, Normally not the console will be where the touchpad is located and runs the length of the unit. The control board is what gives the unit operational function.

Hello Nick, You will need to pull the tech sheet from the unit and follow the wiring diagram to see where the voltage is dropped. If voltage is not getting to the control, check both door switches. If voltage is not getting to the door switches, check the harness and the power connection box.

Hello Griffdog. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the motor 154844101 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.

Clare, The UO error is an open vent error. Here is what needs to be checked for the unit. While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board The ER error code is a membrane switch failure. You will want to check the following for it. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board. (Note: washing, drying, and clean s may appear in display when error code is present)
