Chris September 01, 2020 for Model Number CFGHD2433K How difficult is it to replace Console Assembly? Actually, my console is working fine. I guess my question is, do you sell the piece which allows the console to be changed from white to stainless steel finish? I've purchased a SS door and handle. Is the only way to convert the console to SS is to buy the entire console assembly? Can I just purchased the stainless steel casing? Thank you for your time and assistance. Thank you, Chris
1 Answer Chris, The trim on the console is not sold separately and would need to get the console 154791806. To change this is just a matter of disassembly of the door and is not difficult to do. Read More...

Brandon July 07, 2017 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Hello, I'm attempting to troubleshoot my FGHD2433KF1. The unit is completely unresponsive and does not display anything. I have 120V at the door switch and I did a continuity test on neutral and hot with door latch open and shut and the latch appears to be working. I tried replacing the main control board (which didn't change the symptoms of the unit) so I'm suspecting it's the control panel assembly? Is there a way I can determine it's the control Assembly before ordering this part?
1 Answer Brandon, Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't supply a key pad matrix, in order to test the key pads. You can remove the ribbon connector from the control board, check the tracers(in the ribbon) to make sure they are all solid tracers, make sure the ribbon isn't twisted, kinked or creased, then lean the end of the ribbon connector and the pins on the control board with alcohol or contact cleaner. If the problem persists, then replace the 154791806 / 154791806 Console Assembly w/Overlay. Based on the information, that would be where the problem is. Thanks, Read More...
Sharon April 21, 2017 for Model Number unknown is a console assembly the same thing as a control board?
1 Answer Sharon, Normally not the console will be where the touchpad is located and runs the length of the unit. The control board is what gives the unit operational function. Read More...
Nick June 27, 2016 for Model Number DGHD2433KF1 The dishwasher has no display there is power to the control board. I changed the board but still no display. I jumped the door switch but still no display and no buttons lights up.
1 Answer Hello Nick, You will need to pull the tech sheet from the unit and follow the wiring diagram to see where the voltage is dropped. If voltage is not getting to the control, check both door switches. If voltage is not getting to the door switches, check the harness and the power connection box. Read More...
David O April 11, 2016 for Model Number fghd2433kf1 Dishwasher turns on, shows no funny display symbols - but barely has any water if any water coming into the machine. Have checked the float switch and water valve which are fine. However I show no power getting to either the float switch or water valve. The motor shows continuity and is well grounded (and runs), the heater bi-metal shows continuity. Not sure what to test next. Is there a way to test the control board?
1 Answer Hello David. If there is no power to the float switch, then you can test the wires on the board for power. If none is there, then you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Jim December 10, 2014 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 My dishwasher quit working in the middle of cycle. I checked the breaker. The panel does not have lights on it. Is it the touch pad or the control board and is there an easy way to tell which?
1 Answer Hello Jim. You need to test for power to the control board 5304514670. If there is power to the board, and it does not work, you will need to replace the board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Clare October 28, 2014 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Normal wash cycle starts then stops and I get a flashing ER then UO message. I've checked connections and powered off and on to reset. What do I need to fix this four year old dish washer? Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Clare, The UO error is an open vent error. Here is what needs to be checked for the unit. While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board The ER error code is a membrane switch failure. You will want to check the following for it. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board. (Note: washing, drying, and clean s may appear in display when error code is present) Read More...
