Brandon for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Hello, I'm attempting to troubleshoot my FGHD2433KF1. The unit is completely unresponsive and does not display anything. I have 120V at the door switch and I did a continuity test on neutral and hot with door latch open and shut and the latch appears to be working. I tried replacing the main control board (which didn't change the symptoms of the unit) so I'm suspecting it's the control panel assembly? Is there a way I can determine it's the control Assembly before ordering this part?
Answer Brandon, Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn't supply a key pad matrix, in order to test the key pads. You can remove the ribbon connector from the control board, check the tracers(in the ribbon) to make sure they are all solid tracers, make sure the ribbon isn't twisted, kinked or creased, then lean the end of the ribbon connector and the pins on the control board with alcohol or contact cleaner. If the problem persists, then replace the 154791806 / 154791806 Console Assembly w/Overlay. Based on the information, that would be where the problem is. Thanks, Read More...
