Ed for Model Number Frigidaire FFU1764FW2 Upright freezer Will cool to about 30 degrees, but not any lower, regardless of the temp setting on the controller. Ordered a defrost thermostat from you and replaced it. Did not fix the problem. Evaporator is not icing up. Fan working well. Compressor checks out good. Could controller be the problem? Thanks
Answer Ed, You will want to look at the evaporator coils and see if the frost pattern on it is even from top to bottom.
