Paul I have a Frigidaire FTF2140ES3. The machine stops during the wash cycle and will not drain or go into high speed rinse. Is this a control board issue?
Answer Hello Paul, This is usually caused by debris in the drain in front of the drain pump. If you have already removed the hose between the drain pump and the outer tub and it is clear, you should check the drain pump impeller to ensure the impeller has not separated from the drain pump motor shaft. If this is good, the unit needs a diagnostic test run on it. This will pull fault codes and show what part of the unit will require attention.
