Littlebits for Model Number ATF6000FS1 Washer makes a "clank" sound when it changes direction in the wash cycle. Then the machine goes to "pau" and stops.. We've tried restarting, cancelling, unplugging but encounter the same problem. However, when we switched to using "Quick" wash and "Med Spin Speed" and was able to complete the wash with no issues. What could be the problem? We usually use the normal or heavy setting and fast speed.
Answer Littlebits, You will want to access the tech sheet in the unit and put the unit into diagnostics and make sure that there are no stored error codes. As for the clanking noise, it is possible that there could be something caught between the inner and outer tubs. You would have to separate the tubs to check this. Read More...
