Jim for Model Number model LTF2140FS1 I'm working on a Frigidaire front load washer model LTF2140FS1. When I push the start button the door locks and that is as far as it goes, nothing. Just like the water wasn't turned on. I checked the pressure switch. That's ok. I don't have any power at the water valves. I checked all the connections and they're good. I think I have narrowed it down to either the control panel isn't sending the signal to the main board to start or the main isn't receiving the signal. I am wondering what you thought?
Answer Jim, presumably you tested the pressure switch with the air tube disconnected, and had a "closed" circuit across the terminals on the switch. You may want to blow in the end of the tube, to make sure there is no debris or sediment in the tube, that would restrict or block the air flow in the tube to the switch. Then disconnect the J9 connector from the main control board and check for the same circuits / wires in the harness. If the readings are correct, replace the main control board. Read More...
