David for Model Number ATF8000FS1 I replaced the pump on our Fridgidaire washer in Sept. but the motor felt hot and we occasionally had a burning odor. The washer now does not spin out unless there is only a very light load or no load in it. The only error code that shows up is the E23 from the pump repair. Could this be motor or motor control board?
Answer David, For this issue of the E23 error code, this would be a drain pump relay on the control board has failed or there is a wire off the pump. You will want to check the pump and wiring between the pump and the control board. If they check ok for no loose or broken wires then the main control board will be the issue. Read More...
