Robert for Model Number ATFB6700FS0 My washer is displaying error code E5E. I've checked all the wires. The front control board lights up and door locks. I put it on spin cycle it starts then turns off. The tub does not spin. Is it the motor control board?
Answer Hello Robert, If the spin basket turns freely when turned by hand, the issue is most likely the control board, motor control board 134743500 or the wiring between the two. Note that the tech sheet refers you to test 11 which reads as follows: Communication problem. Check the wiring between the control board and the speed control board. Wiring bad - Correct wiring problem. Wiring good - Replace the control board. If the problem is not corrected, replace the speed control board. Read More...
