Greg for Model Number GLRS264ZAB3 I am replacing my control box with your P/N 5304482075. Simple enough, except that the instructions sent with it was printed on a tiny piece of paper, apparently photocopied, and the pictures were complete unintelligible. Very unprofessional, though I guess that is Electrolux's issue. Anyway, when I turn power on the damper continuously opens and closes. So, I suspected the limit switches. I checked this control box against my old one. I noticed that there are less wires going to the top of the damper motor on the new unit. I guess they do it differently with the new controller. WHen I bumped the connector on top of the damper motor, I realized that even though it looks like the connector is plugged into the spade, it is actually just resting on top of it. It has a gray wire. Is this the wire to the limit switch that is unconnected, which is causing it to continuously cycle? Should I just connect it and give it a try? Begs the question - how did they test this if the wire was unconnected? It cannot be accidentally bumped off of the spade, since it is physically tied to the rest of the plugs and they ALL would have to come off together.
Answer Hi Greg. Change the damper micro switch electrical connectors around. They are plugged in backwards. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 1, 2011
