Sal for Model Number phsc39eess3 My freezer defrost system is not working. I'm trying to run test to see which part is bad? Can you help? On a blog I was told to check the adc board by pressing the light switch 5 times in 6 seconds. If the heater came on than the adc is bad. I could also test the defrost heater, terminating thermostat and cold control for continuity from the adc harness. I can't find the adc board. Is it the control box and if so where is it located. I don't want to change random parts.
Answer Hi Sal. If the Adc control part # 5304482075 does not accept the forced defrost, then you need to replace it. The control board is in the upper Lt.side of the controls.
