Paula for Model Number plef398ccc my right front burner willnot turn off. not sure 100% which part we need . think it might element control. we also had an incident when mike was putting cove back on. he did not turn off the power and ther was a pop and puff of smoke towards top center now the clock is flashing and we get a PF error on display next to the clok. none of the burners work now. any ideas or will we need a technician to test. thanks paula
Answer Hello Paula. Test for power coming to the element for the control. If there is power there and the control is in the off position, you will need to replace the control 316239601KIT. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
