Laura for Model Number FAQE7001LW1 After a recent thunderstorm power outage. Power was restored and all breakers checked. The Dryer is getting power and light comes on inside dryer, but the controls do not work or light up. The dryer will not work.
Answer Laura, You most likely have a damaged control board 137070890NH Control, PCB, No Housing. Apparently, there is L1 voltage(120VAC) to the thermal fuse and the door switch or the drum light wouldn't work. You may or may not have L1 voltage to the control board (red/black wire on the J2 pin 1) If not, the wire between the thermal limiter and the control board is damaged or broken.
