Jamie Hale for Model Number Kenmore dryer model 417.81122310 Brand new out of box. Hooked up cord correctly and can measure the 120v in the right places on the terminal block. light come on in dryer but there is nothing out of the control panel. I am measuring 72vac at connectors to the controller with the controller disconnected so the controller is not loading down the voltage. I think it should be 120vac but am not sure.
Answer Jamie, There should be 120 Vac getting to the control board on the unit. Verify that you have 120 Vac from the center terminal to either of the outer 2 terminals on the terminal block of the unit. If there is proper power then check for a wiring issue.
