Cesar Right front element surface: only the outer part of the element surface heats up (the center does not). could the issue be the element surface or the knob control unit? Also, how can I find out what the Frigidaire electric range model is as the tag where the model is located faded out. thanks
Answer Cesar, The more likely problem would be the "dual" infinite control switch But without a model number it would be very difficult to determine which switch you need. You can remove power to the range, remove the back panel and the switch. The switch should have a manufacturer part number stamped on the side of the housing (like the attached part photo 316436001).
