Jason March 02, 2024 for Model Number FEF368GSA I ordered the front left burner (15A) on the diagram that supposedly replaces the original. Wiring doesn't match up (not a big deal, I marked the terminals accordingly and got that part OK) and when I installed the clips for the retainer in the same spots as my old burner (09 & 42, I marked them before pulling off), it doesn't line up with the top and the wires are pulled so tight that I can't put the retainer clips back on properly.
1 Answer Jason, the retainer clips can be rotated on the element as long as they are shifted in the same direction by the same amount of spacing. This will allow the element to be rotated to a position where it can seat in place. Read More...
Dave B January 16, 2024 for Model Number FFEF3017LWD I have a frigidaire LFEf3017LWD glass top range. The large element on the right side goes on and quickly off and never gets hot. I have replaced it with the same results. I changed the rotary switches to one I know works and still have the same problem. I then switched the elements with the one that has no past problems and its doing the same thing. The only thing I haven't tried is to replace the wiring. Do you sell the wiring harness?
1 Answer Dave B, The manufacturer has discontinued the top harness. 316580417 This part has been discontinued by the manufacturer & is no longer available. No alternate or substitute part has been recommended by the manufacturer. Read More...

Jimmy February 17, 2018 for Model Number 790.96020400 I have the listed model number stove of which the two large coils work but do not heat as they do glow at first but go out. Now at each increment of adjusted dial control again the coil lights up or glows under the pan, yet after a few seconds it goes out an does not come back on till you increase setting. Is this normal for this to function like this. I am not sure what year this stove was made but I will also include the serial number as well. #VF43897439
1 Answer Jimmy, The surface element should come on and then shut off but once it cools some then it will come back on. If they will not come back on then this will be a limiter on the element that is bad. Read More...
Krista July 14, 2017 for Model Number fes367dcb The front right burner on my Frigidaire FES367DCB range no longer heats properly. It will generate some heat, but not correctly and not very much. I first noticed this when the stove wouldn't turn on at all. The breaker had been flipped for that appliance. We reset the breaker and it works now, except the front right burner. Does this sound like a heating element issue or a control switch issue?
1 Answer Krista, You will want to check the infinite switch to see if there is 240 vac from H1 to H2 terminals (these should be the same color wires). If there is then this issue would be with the heating element. If there is not then the switch is faulty and would need replaced. Read More...
