Jason for Model Number FEF368GSA I ordered the front left burner (15A) on the diagram that supposedly replaces the original. Wiring doesn't match up (not a big deal, I marked the terminals accordingly and got that part OK) and when I installed the clips for the retainer in the same spots as my old burner (09 & 42, I marked them before pulling off), it doesn't line up with the top and the wires are pulled so tight that I can't put the retainer clips back on properly.
Answer Jason, the retainer clips can be rotated on the element as long as they are shifted in the same direction by the same amount of spacing.
