Persol for Model Number 79099122401 - Kenmore Elite Electric range The two front elements (largest on the right and round left-front elements) remain hot and can not control them to lower the temperature or turn them off. I had to disconnect the power to kill the power. Even after I kept it unplugged the unit still keeps hot at highest temperature. (1) What is wrong with it? (2) What should I replace (3) if a part is available, what should I do and how can I replace it with a newer part? (4) are there videos that would show me how to replace the parts you would suggest? Pleasxe help me.
Answer Persol, The cooktop elements are the least likely issue. You may have a shorted wire to either of the burners, but most likely would be a shoted surface unit control board 316272401 or the control panel/keypad assembly 5303935246 .
