Loyd for Model Number 790.46892900 How do I get the bad lower, hidden bake element out in order to replace it? The oven doesn't have a access panel at the bottom of the oven like on other ovens I've worked on.
Answer Hello Loyd. In order to remove the storage drawer and access the hidden bake element, pull the drawer out to its maximum position. On the left hand side glide, push the drawer glide locking bracket upwards in order to unlock the left glide and slightly pull the drawer out. On the right hand side glide, push the drawer glide locking bracket down in order to unlock the left glide and put the drawer off of its glide. Unscrew the 3 screws which hold the hidden bake element service panel. (Third screw is located between the LH and RH screws). Lower the hidden bake panel in order to access the bake element. Remove the 4 screws which hold the bake element in place, gently pull the bake element out roughly 4? and replace. Gently push back the bake element in place taking care not to pinch the wires between the cavity and the element. Thanks. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 28, 2017
