  • Heats and glows when operating; failure can cause little or no bake heat.
  • Common symptoms: oven won't reach set temperature, food cooks unevenly, or element shows visible breaks or heavy corrosion.
  • Fits as the direct replacement heating element for the bake function when matched to your model.
What's included: One bake element. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance at the breaker or fuse box before starting any work.
  • Allow the oven to cool completely and wear gloves to protect hands from sharp edges.
  • Confirm terminal orientation and secure electrical connections; ensure the element is seated and fastened per your model's instructions.

Hello Loyd. In order to remove the storage drawer and access the hidden bake element, pull the drawer out to its maximum position. On the left hand side glide, push the drawer glide locking bracket upwards in order to unlock the left glide and slightly pull the drawer out. On the right hand side glide, push the drawer glide locking bracket down in order to unlock the left glide and put the drawer off of its glide. Unscrew the 3 screws which hold the hidden bake element service panel. (Third screw is located between the LH and RH screws). Lower the hidden bake panel in order to access the bake element. Remove the 4 screws which hold the bake element in place, gently pull the bake element out roughly 4? and replace. Gently push back the bake element in place taking care not to pinch the wires between the cavity and the element. Thanks.
