Robert for Model Number GLEB30T8CBA Frigidaire Double oven. Lower oven not holding temperature. I swapped elements and temp sensors but lower oven still doesn't hold temp. Latest action: set pre-bake on 325. It took 10 minutes to reach. I set a manual thermometer in the slightly opened door. Temp never got above 315 (upper oven reached and held 340). Once 315 reached temp fell to about 240 and stayed there. What should I check next? What part(s) do I need to replace?
Answer Robert, You will want to test the oven sensor from the control board. This will test the wires as well as the sensor. You will want to check at room temperature for a resistance of 1090 ohms. If you turn the oven on for every degree that the oven raises you would add 2 ohms of resistance. If the resistance does not check ok then either the wires or the sensor itself is faulty and would need replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 10, 2015
