Karen Kain for Model Number FES366ECB The element will not heat. I just changed to a new one but it is still not working. How can I trouble shoot? The broiler heats.
Answer Karen, If you have a multi meter, you can dismount and slide the element out enough to attach the meter leads to the element wires and terminals, program a bake cycle and check for 220-240 VAC across the terminals. less than 220 VAC the element wont heat and you'll need to check the yellow wire for a break or damaged connection. If the wire is OK, you'll need to check or replace the EOC/Clock 316418530, the bake relay has shorted and/or failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 6, 2017
