Cj for Model Number PLEFM399DCD The inner element on the right side dual burner element will not turn on. The outer element works just fine. Do you know any way of determining if the element is the problem or some other component? Also, if I do end up ordering the element and it doesn't resolve the problem is there an return policy to cover this condition? Thanks!
Answer CJ, You can look down into the element using a flashlight and see if you see any burn marks on the element. If there is a burn mark then the element is bad. If not then you would want to check the surface unit control board to make sure that it is sending power to the element.
