Bob for Model Number Frigidaire The filter cup housing FRS222RGWO I need to replace the filter cup only.. Can I do this without replacing the entire housing assembly? My defective part is # 138 on the diagram. How would I remove the housing from the connectors in #140, and reconnect them?
Answer Bob, Unfortunately you do have to purchase the complete filter housing assembly 218904404 to get the cup. To release the hoses from the filter head, you push in on the ring round the tubing and pull out on tubing at the same time you are pushing in. Read More...
