1 Answer Jay, You will want to make sure that there is a Oring around the cup of the housing and that it is not getting pinched. The filter should push up into the assembly and you may want to put just a very thin coat of vegetable oil on the ring just to help it slide into place. Read More...

Gail B October 09, 2014 for Model Number FRS26ZRF white Water is leaking from around my water filter housing. I changed the filter and the O-ring but water spews out of the top of the cup when I get water out of the front door. I made sure the filter was in correctly and that the cup was screwed on properly. Water still comes out of the door as it is leaking inside so it doesn't seem to be clogged between there and the door. Do I need to replace the filter housing, water hoses, or is there something else that I need to correct this? Thanks! G
