Art for Model Number LEQ7000ES0 Old top felt had no teflon glides. New part has three glides, and felt is a lot thicker. Can't get drum back on because new felt+glides is so much thicker. If I insert bottom first then top drum lip won't go over glides. If I do top first then bottom drum lip starts to cut bottom felt. I installed glide overhangs toward door (not drum) as instructions showed. I'm wondering if it would be easier if overhangs faced drum. Then the overhangs would go inside drum first and drum would slide up onto felt. In any case I'm stuck.
Answer Hello Art, I think you got the wrong part somehow as the front seal 134440200 you need has no glides made on it. It glues on with the high temperature adhesive just like the other one, but is designed for the teflon glides inside the front of the drum to ride on it. Read More...
